vsftpd uses root user to log in

 

1) Edit two FTP configuration files: /etc/vsftpd.ftpuusers and /etc/vsftpd.user_list, delete the root line or #comment out;

 

2) Restart the vsftpd service: [root@Linux etc]# service vsftpd restart.
