The function you are trying to run contains macros or requires macro language support

During the use of Office members Word and Excel, the following prompts are often encountered "The function you are trying to run contains macros or content that requires macro language support.

While installing this software, you (or your administrator) chose not to install support for macros or controls".

There are two main reasons for this prompt,

The following respectively take Excel as an example to introduce their respective solutions.

Excel setup process:

The reason for the first problem is: The workbook or document to be opened contains VBA code, and the macro security set by the user Office does not allow the use of macros or VBA code operations.

1 Solution: First, click the [Start] button and click the [Excel] option.

2 Select [Trust Center] - [Trust Center Settings].

3 In [Macro Settings], select the two options of Enable All Macros and Trust Access to the VBA Project Object Model, and click OK.

Close the Excel program and open the file again and there will be no unavailable prompt.

Second reason: Visual Basic for Applications was not installed when Office was installed.

The solution is as follows:

1. Open the Control Panel and select [Uninstall a program].

2. Find the current Office version, and then select [Change].

3. Select [Add or Remove Features], and then click [Continue].

4. Click the plus sign of [Office Sharing Features] to open the options.

5. Find [Visual Basic for Applications] in [Office Sharing Features].

6. Click the drop-down button, select [Run from this computer], and then click [Continue] to install.
