There are actually two ways of thinking about this question. Do you want to make a Meimei app now, or do you want to become a designer first and then make a Meimei app? If the latter, please refer to other answers~

[Highlight] Why do I write this? Because I like to make products and design, I only need one program ~ program ~ staff ~ If you are interested, please send me a private message, we can share your thoughts on the product, if both sides feel good, you can write the code and I will design it. Make the app ~ [Highlight is over]

The information asymmetry between occupations, do you think that designers are all built from scratch, pixel by pixel, no, no, no, we also have a knack for being lazy. . . After reading this article, as long as you have ps or sketch, know the concept of layers, you can export elements to the required format, and you can do the work of the app by yourself.

Your design difficulty will change from ---

to ---

--- Outline---

1. I need an icon to make an app, but I can't draw it, what should I do? I found some ready-made ones, but the quality is not high, what should I do? What should I do if the icons are not complete?

2. What if there is no aesthetics?

3. I have an app idea in my mind, but I can't draw a wireframe, what should I do?

4. iOS has so many sizes, Android size is more scary, do you have to remember all of them, is it very troublesome to export @1x@2x@3x dot nine images or something?

5. Having said all that, do you still want me to draw from a blank canvas? ! No art foundation! Of course not~

6. You can ask any other questions.

1. What to do if the icon is hard-working

Even as a designer, it is very tiring to draw icons one by one.
At this time, if you have money, go to option A; if you don't have money or don't want to spend money, go to option B.

A If you are very rich, please give me the money directly, and I will give you the icon hahaha. If you have a little money, you can go to http://www.shutterstock.com/ or http://www.pixeden.com/ to buy it. There are many more icon stations. List these two first. Anyway, you want to see the free ones. wrong.

B http://www.flaticon.com is your best friend, one of your best friends. Although it has been suddenly revised recently, it has become a bit difficult to use, but it is massive, complete, and free. What else do you want? The disadvantage may be that the style is relatively simple. What should I do if I want to be fancy? smashing magazine can help you, https://www.smashingmagazine.com/ Just search for freebie, the quality of the icon in the first few years is not very good and outdated, the newer the better the quality.

Take a chestnut and open one at random.

You can adjust the size, change the color, and adjust the thickness of the lines. If you use these, you can go to heaven if you have a b-frame! These are free resources released by top designers, and the designers you paid for may not be able to draw them. . .

2. What if there is no aesthetics?

There is no cure for this. According to my observation, people without aesthetic talent can judge whether they are good-looking or not, but they cannot judge whether they are good-looking or better-looking. If you have a designer friend at this time, please pay or have a meal, and ask him for advice.

The methods of slow treatment include: watch more dribbble (more eye candy, but you can understand trends and aesthetic orientation), use more praised and award-winning apps, have you downloaded the "most beautiful apps"? Have you seen the "Pea Pod Design Award"? (@hp please like ~) Have you paid attention to the inventory of the app store every year?

3. What should I do if I have a bad idea about the app process?

$1 prototype Dafa, from a book of the same name, I just finished reading the beginning, so the following is based on its table of contents and my experience. . . Specifically, "scene" - "process" - "interface".

First imagine what the user is using, involving several users and what they are doing. For example, in yelp, users need to find a place to eat, so there is generally only one user (compared to uber users and n-party users in group chat), the input is some query conditions, and the output is where to eat.

Now refine the process, what steps are users taking from opening the app to reaching their goals. Or yelp, in general, open the app, enter the query conditions, see the results, filter, and check the business details if you are satisfied. If you are not satisfied, you may re-search or change the filter conditions. This is the main storyline, and there are also some sideline stories, such as seeing a user's evaluation is very good, check the user's other evaluations, follow the user; and I am in a restaurant, take a menu and take a dish, and upload it to yelp. Draw all the plots on the flow chart.

Some details may be encountered during the period. What does the user enter first, is it a restaurant type, or just can eat? Whether the distance information is given by gps or lost by the user, or the distance does not matter, anyway, does the user have a car? When does the price appear? Do you limit the price when you search, or filter after the results come out? These are not to be afraid of, they have to be changed anyway. . . And the app you want to make is generally not that complicated.

Once you have a flowchart, the interface is simple. Put the elements on the interface. It is recommended to use a mobile phone-sized sticky note and draw it with a pencil. There are many things that you have experience in playing apps a lot. What are the search results, not just map view and list view, how to filter, put A funnel icon is in the title bar, and the sauce is brewed. The next step is to bring relatives and friends over, let them play with this paper prototype, and then change it if they find something wrong.

There are two software recommendations, one https://popapp.in has not been used for a long time, I hope it is still free. A https://marvelapp.com free unlimited project, really conscience, I have been expecting it to be acquired by adobe, but adobe neither accepted it nor invision, but prepared to make a comet by itself. . . So arrogant.

4. What if I can't remember the size?

Don't use ps. Sketch is a productivity tool. It's really not expensive. It's not a monthly subscription. You can buy it once for a lifetime. If you have something to bear, buy it. If you use it to create new artboards in the future, you don't have to remember so many sizes, and it is very convenient to export pictures. Goodbye to ps cut pictures.

5. What should I do if I don't move my hand when facing a blank canvas?

I mentioned invision earlier. The company's marketing is very good, and the design is also very good. In order to promote their products, the marketing department asked designers to make a lot of high-quality free templates for other designers to download.

Take a chestnut.

One more.

These are all a whole set, a whole set, which means that the login interface, the dashboard, the interface for reading articles, the shopping cart, the weather, and the chat dialogue are likely to have various interfaces. There are generally two formats: ps, sketch, and sometimes ai, which is not much different from the finished product packaged by the designer. You may need a cut-out boy, or you may come by yourself.

What if these are not enough?

6. Other issues.

There should be no other problems. Highlight again at the end.

[Highlight] If you have an app idea for a personal project, welcome to communicate with me. If I am interested, I will design the design, and you will provide the code. If you want to write an app but "there's only one idea left", you are welcome to send a private message, I can talk to you about my ideas. 【Highlighted death】
