In matlab, there seem to be only eight colors by default for plotting, namely: b--blue, r--red, m--magenta, k--black, g--green, c--cyan, y --Yellow, w--white. Sometimes we draw a lot of lines, and these colors may not be obvious enough to distinguish each line. Here is a simple and effective way.
After we draw a picture with plot, if we want to change the color or other properties of one of the lines, we can do the following in sequence:
1. Click the arrow on the picture, as shown below;
2. Select the line you want to change, then right-click and select the color ;
3. The color options bar will appear, then select the color you want, and click OK, as shown in the following figure.
