From November 17th to 18th, the first Prophet Innovation Conference was held in Beijing. 16 technology "leaders" in the fields of quantum technology, information security and risk control, machine learning, and artificial intelligence shared their latest research results.
These include Shi Yaoyun, a heavyweight in the field of quantum technology, Wang Xiaoyun, the "Yang Zhenning Chair Professor" and Chinese cryptographer of Tsinghua University, Duan Haixin, director of the Network and Information Security Laboratory of Tsinghua University, and Xu Wenyuan, a scholar of Zhejiang University's "Thousand Talents Program". Industry experts from companies and research institutes such as Alibaba, Ant Financial, Baidu, Tencent and 360.

Shi Yaoyun, chief quantum technology scientist of Alibaba Cloud, shared the topic: quantum and relativistic cryptography. The topic is information security based on physical principles. From the perspectives of quantum mechanics and relativity, it explains how to "play" infinite computing power while ensuring security.

Dr. Xu Wenyuan of Zhejiang University's "Thousand Talents Program" shared the topic: Intelligent portrait of cyberspace based on analog state technology. The topic introduced the dolphin sound attack, how to make voice assistants, smart cars, and wearable devices "out of control", and then demonstrated the importance of IoT security.
The conference also announced the final ownership of the first Prophet Award: Dr. Wang Xiaoyun, a Chinese cryptography expert and "Yang Zhenning Chair Professor" of Tsinghua University. His research on MD5 collision technology has made a subversive contribution to the development of China's safety academia and industry.

MD5 is one of the two most widely used cryptographic algorithms in the world. Crack the MD5 password algorithm, and the calculation amount reaches 2 to the 64th power of large table lookup operation. Even with the fastest computer at the time, it would take millions of years to crack. But Wang Xiaoyun and her research team can find valid results in about a day using ordinary personal computers.
