19. Concurrent programming of network programming

Operating System Concepts:

I/O operations: Information transfer operations between the main memory of a computer and the media of peripheral devices

Multi-channel system: refers to allowing multiple programs to enter the memory and run at the same time, and run them alternately in the CPU

Multi-channel batch processing system: The system can accommodate multiple jobs at the same time, and users are not allowed to interact with other jobs during the system running process

Time-sharing operating system: In the batch system, users cannot interfere with the running of their own programs, and they cannot know the running status of the programs, which is not good for the debugging and troubleshooting of the programs. In order to customer service to question the shortcomings, this system was created. It runs the operation of multiple online users simultaneously enabling a computer system to perform computations

Real-time system: It means that when external events or data are generated, it can be received and processed at a fast enough speed, and the results of its processing can control the production process or respond quickly to the processing system within a specified time. The operating system where all real-time tasks run in unison. Therefore, providing timely response and high reliability are its main features.

operating system:

Simply put, it is a control program that coordinates, manages and controls computer hardware and software resources.
