Ubuntu16.04 install Processing

download

Download the latest linux 64bit version gzip file at https://processing.org/ , currently http://download.processing.org/processing-3.3.7-linux64.tgz .

Install

After decompression, move to /opt/ directory

Add shortcut

Create a new file processing-pde.desktop under /usr/share/applications with the following contents
