Window system converted to linux system

The following is an example of installing Centos6.5

1. Download data

1.1 Prepare a U disk (greater than 8G)

1.2 Download U Disk Boot Disk Creation Tool UltraISO

http://qunying.jb51.net:81/201311/tools/UltraISOPortable(jb51.net).rar

1.3 Download the IOS image file CentOS-6.5-i386-bin-DVD1.iso

http://linux.xitongxz.net:808/201603/CentOS-6.5-i386-bin-DVD1.iso

2. Make a boot disk

2.1 Open UltraISO

2.2

2.3

2.4

2.5

2.6

At this point, the boot disk is created

3. Convert windows to linux system

3.1 Insert the newly made U disk boot disk into the computer to be modified

3.2 Start the system, press F12 during startup, enter the BIOS interface, select the third item USB, and press Enter

3.3 Select the installation language, select English for this demo document, and press Enter

3.4 Select the keyboard type, select us in this document

3.5 Select the system storage device, we have made the U disk as a boot disk, it will be recognized as a hard disk in linux, select the second item "Hard drive"

3.6 Select the partition, here you need to select the partition of the U disk boot disk. The U disk partition in this document is /dev/sda4. Many installation tutorials on the Internet are U disk partitions in /dev/sdb4. If there are differences, don’t worry, go to the following Steps If the startup file is not found, the installation process will automatically stop, and you can start over at that time.

3.7 After pressing OK in the previous step, the Centos logo will appear, click Next in the lower right corner

3.8 This step does not need to be changed, the default options are fine

3.9 Set the host name, you can use the default or change it to your favorite name

3.10 Select the time zone, in Chinese, select Asia/Shanghai

3.11 Set the root account password

3.12 Select the last item, custom partition

3.13 The partition whose Type is EFISystem Partition is the U disk boot disk. Do not select this option in the next operation, otherwise the system will not be installed successfully (if the U disk boot disk is accidentally lost, don’t worry, close it Machine, everything is fine)

Except for the EFI System Partition, other types are the disk partitions in the existing system of your computer. You need to delete these existing disk partitions. After deletion, only the free item is left.

3.14 Select the content in the red box and click the delete button in the lower right corner

3.15 This is the result after deleting all existing partitions, click the Create button

3.16 Click the "Create" button in the pop-up box

3.17 Be sure to set the check box of the U disk boot disk to unchecked

File System Type: swap

Size: Generally set to twice the size of the computer memory (the computer memory operated by this document is 2G, so it is set to 4096)

Options: Fixed Size

After clicking OK, set the remaining disk space

Click Create, be sure to set the check box of the U disk boot disk to unchecked

File System Type: ext4

Size: can not be set

Options: Item 3, all remaining space

3.18 Click Next and select Writechanges to disk

3.19 Select to modify the device Change device

3.20 Click BIOS Driver Order

3.21 The first BIOS driver must select the disk partition, not the U disk partition (if the disk partition is selected, after the installation is completed, the system can only be started by inserting the U disk)

Select the U disk partition for the second BIOS driver

3.22 Select the installation method and click Next to complete the installation

4. Restore the U disk
