Hyper-v install Centos and network configuration

  1. The newly installed Centos system cannot access the Internet by default, and needs to be configured accordingly; select the corresponding virtual machine, and click "Virtual Switch Manager";
  2. Set up the network on hyper-v and allocate resources such as cpu, memory, and disk.
  3. During the installation of CentOS7, first set the gateway, IP, and subnet mask.
  4. After the installation is complete and the system is started, you need to log in with the root account;
  5. Right-click on the desktop to open a terminal command window;
  6. Enter the following command to enter the network configuration file directory;
    cd  /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/
  7. Enter the ls (note that it is a lowercase English letter L, not 1) command to check which files are included;
  8. Enter the first file of ifcfg through vi to configure or modify;
    vi ifcfg-eth0 (default filename)
  9. Turn on auto-enable network connection;
    ONBOOT=yes
  10. Add or modify ip address;
    IPADDR0=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
  11. Add or modify the subnet mask;
    PREFIXO0=24
  12. Add or modify the gateway address;
    GATEWAY0=255.255.255.0
  13. Add or modify DNS servers;
    DNS1= (eg 192.168.1.1)
  14. Finally, make the settings take effect and test for success;
    :wq! #Save and exit
     service network restart #Restart the network
     ping www.baidu.com #Test whether the network is normal
  15. Set the hostname to www;
    hostname www #Set the hostname to www
    vi /etc/hostname #Edit configuration file
    www #Modify localhost.localdomain to www
    :wq! #Save and exit
    vi / etc/hosts #Edit configuration file
    127.0.0.1 localhost   www #Modify localhost.localdomain to www
    :wq! #Save and exit
    shutdown -r now #restart the system
  16. After the above configuration, you can basically access the Internet normally. Refer to Installing Centos7 System in Hyper-V Environment
