Ganglia installation and deployment

  1. Install httpd service with php

    # yum -y install httpd php
  2. Install other dependencies

    # yum -y install rrdtool perl-rrdtoolrrdtool-devel

    # yum -y install apr-devel
  3. install ganglia

    # rpm -Uvh http://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/6/x86_64/epel-release-6-8.noarch.rpm

    # yum -y install ganglia-gmetad

    # yum -y install ganglia-web

    # yum install -y ganglia-gmond
  4. Modify the configuration
    file ganglia.conf:

    # vi/etc/httpd/conf.d/ganglia.conf

    change into:

    #

    #Ganglia monitoring system php web frontend

    #

     

    Alias/ganglia /usr/share/ganglia

     

    <Location/ganglia>

      Order deny,allow

      Deny from all

      Allow from all

      # Allow from 127.0.0.1

      # Allow from ::1

      # Allow from .example.com

    </Location>
    File gmetad.conf :

    # vi / etc / ganglia / gmetad.conf

    change into:

    data_source "linux" 192.168.216.20
    File gmond.conf :

    # vi /etc/ganglia/gmond.conf

    SELINUX=disabled

    #SELINUXTYPE= can take one of these two values:

    #     targeted - Targeted processes areprotected,

    #     mls - Multi Level Security protection.

    SELINUXTYPE=targeted
    selinux must be restarted this time to take effect. If you don't want to restart at this time, you can temporarily take effect:

    $ sudo setenforce 0
  5. start ganglia

    $ sudo service httpd start

    $ sudo service gmetad start

    $ sudo service gmond start

Open the web to browse the ganglia page

http://192.168.216.20/ganglia
If the error of insufficient permissions still occurs after completing the above operations, please modify the permissions of the /var/lib/ganglia directory:
$ sudo chmod -R 777 /var/lib/ganglia Open the web page and browse the ganglia page

Configuring Flume Test Monitoring

Modify flume-env.sh configuration

start flume task

$ bin/flume-change \
