navicat connects to remote mysql

Environment introduction:

Here, I am connecting to Alibaba Cloud's server, and I use mysql 5.7 in my own environment.

First, the first step is to enter the mysql of the remote server and change the host access rights

Then, change the host that root allows access to% (any ip address can access)

Note: It turns out that only local access is allowed

Two locally use navicat to connect to remote mysql

1. Fill in the general part

2. Fill in the SSH section

3. After filling in these two parts, click the connection test on the ssh page

Note: If the connection is successful, you can click the OK button at the bottom right to connect to the remote mysql database directly on the local navicat
