Website building process

1. Buy a domain name

There are many websites for purchasing domain names, such as Wanwang, Rename, etc. I use Wanwang. Currently Wanwang is affiliated to Alibaba, so the following operations are all carried out in Alibaba Cloud.

Register an account, and then enter the management console. Usually, Alibaba Cloud will ask you to perform real-name authentication, whether you need to purchase a domain name or an ECS server, etc.

Then find Wanwang in the console and purchase the domain name (the domain name is determined by yourself, and the domain name should preferably have some relationship with the type of website you want to build, so that it is easy to remember and easy to do when promoting.)

2. ICP filing (: Internet Content Provide, Internet Content Service Provider)

According to the administrative measures, Internet information services are divided into two categories: commercial and non-commercial. The state implements a licensing system for commercial Internet information services; a filing system for non-commercial Internet information services. Those who have not obtained a license or have not gone through the filing procedures shall not engage in Internet information services. No filing, once used, it will be blocked soon.

Filing process: refer to this document     ; filing address

Or you can buy it from the cloud service provider where you purchased the domain name. For example, Alibaba Cloud provides domain name registration services. It is recommended to record the server where you purchased it to avoid other problems. Then fill in the relevant content as required and OK.

The filing time is generally 10-20 working days (for reference only).

3. Purchase a server

The server is the container in which the website code runs. I purchased Alibaba Cloud's ECS cloud service.

Then, configure the relevant operating environment according to the documentation for deploying the code on the Web.

4. Domain name resolution

It is to bind the registered domain name that has been successfully applied for with the IP address of the service that deploys the website code (it may also be a second-level domain name).
