How to deal with CTS Fail

▪ Step1 : Search SOP

     SOP path : DCC :  http://dcc.mediatek.com

    /Document Tree/SW/3G Phone Data/Smart Phone/Standard Package/MT6575 SW Doc Package/Certification/CTS/Android CTS Setup SOP.pptx

Note: If the above link cannot be downloaded, please follow the above directory prompts to download in DCC.

   Take the following Fail item as an example:

android.security.cts.PackageSignatureTest
- testPackageSignatures

    ØFirst search for Class in SOP, keyword:  " android.security.cts.PackageSignatureTest "

   ØSearch for method in SOP, keyword: " testPackageSignatures "

     If the solution of the Fail item cannot be found in Step1 , try Step2

 

▪ Step2 : Search MTKOnline FAQ

 FAQ path : http://online.mediatek.com  

 ØFirst search for Class in FAQ, keyword: " android.security.cts.PackageSignatureTest "

   ØSearch for the method in the FAQ, keyword: " testPackageSignatures "

   ØAlso refer to  the "Common Fail FAQ" of Quick Academy

   If the solution of the Fail item cannot be found in Step2 , try Step3

 

▪ Step3 : Prepare to submit CTS Eservice

 Ø Check the FAQ and submit CTS questions according to the FAQ requirements
