NXP Pico i.MX7D device hard recovery

NXP Pico i.MX7D is not like the Raspberry Pi. Once the system fails, there is no external memory card, and the system cannot be formatted and reinstalled. It is more complicated to restore the system. Next, we will talk about how to restore the system.

Let me talk about it here. There are very few related articles. I also went to the nxp official website to look through a bunch of documents. Nxp is the hardware. The website documents are super bad, without the slightest sense of logic, and there is no hint. I also tried it. Over and over again, finally summed up

First step, install the driver

The official download address is as follows: (I hope you can find the download entry, this official website is very nice)

If you can't find the download entry, I have uploaded the downloaded file to csdn, click the following driver to download

We plug in the Micro USB cable to the NXP Pico i.MX7D development board. If the driver is installed correctly, we can see the COM device on the computer at this time.

Next, download Putty and open it after the download is complete

According to the parameters shown in the figure above, click open to connect after filling in, the next step is the key point

After clicking open, we see the interface as shown below

There is no response, it doesn't matter, we plug the type-c cable to the development board at this time, and press any key on the keyboard immediately after plugging in. Note that there is only three seconds, and the speed must be fast.

At first, I didn't know that I needed to plug in the type-c line here, and I didn't find any relevant documents. It can be said that I found it through my own research.

After the cursor appears, enter

At this point, the development board has entered the bootloader mode. Open a Windows command prompt and execute:

fastboot devices

You can find the device, and then you can start flashing again.
