zookeeper installation instructions

Zookeeper has three deployment methods: stand-alone, pseudo-cluster, and cluster. You can choose the appropriate deployment method according to your reliability requirements. The following is an introduction to single-machine deployment.

1. Stand-alone installation

1.1 Download

Enter the directory of the version you want to download, select the .tar.gz file to download, which version you need is up to you to choose

Download link: http://archive.apache.org/dist/zookeeper/

1.2 Configuration, download and decompress the result as shown in the following figure:

Click conf and change zoo_sample.cfg to zoo.cfg, which must be called this name. Then modify it.

Open zoo.cfg with text and modify it as follows:

1.3, start the zooker service. The startup command is zkServer.cmd under the bin file.

When you see this 2181, it means that the startup is successful.

For the zookeeper cluster, in fact, it is to modify the storage location of the dataDir of conf/zoo.cfg and the corresponding port number, such as the first port number: 2181, the second 3181, ... and so on. No detailed introduction is given here.

At this point, the single-machine zookeeper arrangement is over.
