Fiddler - modify HTTP request parameters

During App testing, it is often necessary to modify the request parameters to obtain different display effects to view the corresponding page display processing. For example, you can get different response results by modifying the parameters of the HTTP request.

The following takes the modification of the commodity system number of the HTTP request as an example to briefly explain how to modify the request parameters of the HTTP request through Fiddler. When it is not modified initially, the product information displayed on the page is as follows (the product system number is: 2142717 at this time):

The following is to modify the commodity system number requested by the business details through Fiddler, so that it should return the business details of the Apple iPhone 6 Plus (A1524) 16GB gold mobile phone, and return the commodity: Canon (Canon) EOS 5D Mark III SLR set. The specific operation steps are as follows:

 

Step 1: Modify the Fiddler interception mode

According to the position shown in the figure below, click the part in the red box (lower left corner of Fiddler) until the style shown in the figure below is displayed. This interception method is the interception HTTP request mode.

 

Step 2: Operate the mobile phone and start to obtain the HTTP request for business details (the mobile phone needs to be proxyed to the local machine)

After the client sends a request, Fiddler intercepts the request as shown in the following figure:

 

Step 3: Modify the commodity system number requested by the business details

Modify the product system number in the above picture to:, and then click the button  to continue sending the request to continue sending the request (before sending,  clear the interception mode first), at this time, the modified product information is displayed on the mobile phone, as shown below:
