• l Remove modules that do not need to be loaded

Window --> Preferences -->General --> Startup and Shutdown

 

• l Cancel spell check

        Window --> Preferences -->General --> Editors --> Text Editors --> Spelling

        Enable spelling cheching directly click to cancel

 

• l Cancel automatic verification at startup

        Window --> Preferences -->MyEclipse --> Validation

On the file to be verified, right-click --> MyEclipse --> run validation ; the same effect can be achieved

 

• l Switch to JDK8

Window --> Preferences -->Java --> Installed JREs

Select Add, select Standard VM, next

Window --> Preferences --> Java --> Compiler

Select the JDK compiler level as 1.8 and click Apply

 

• l Turn off Maven automatic download

Window --> Preferences -->MyEclipse --> Maven4MyEclipse

Deselect the Downloadrepository index updates on startup option and also select JDK8 for Maven JDK

 

• l Change the way JSP is opened by default

        Window --> Preferences -->General --> Editors --> File Associations

Select the MyEclipse JSP Editor editor (the default is Designer), and then click the Default button on the right

 

• l Change the file encoding

        Window --> Preferences -->General à workspace encoding changed to UTF-8

Window -->Preferences --> MyEclipse --> Files and Editors --> JSP 改为ISO10646/Unicode(UTF-8)
