Blue Bridge Cup Introduction:
The competition is divided into three parts: individual competition, team competition and art design competition. This blog is only a brief introduction to the individual competition, matters that should be paid attention to, and my personal post-match summary.
Competition items and target audience
1. JAVA software development
Objects: Graduate, undergraduate and vocational college students who have full-time student status and meet the registration requirements of relevant subjects (subject to the status at the time of registration), and the competition will be conducted on an individual basis. The professional direction consists of University Group A, University B group, and University C group.
Note: Undergraduate students of 985 and 211 can only apply to University Group A, all postgraduates can only apply to University Group A, undergraduate students of other institutions can choose to apply for University Group A or University B, and higher vocational colleges can apply University Group C or any group of your choice.
2. C/C++ programming

Object: Full-time undergraduate and vocational college students with official student status (subject to the status at the time of registration), and the competition will be conducted on an individual basis. There is a university group for this professional direction.
5. Youth Creative Programming Group
Target: Elementary and middle school students aged 6-17.
Competition scale
The Blue Bridge Cup is divided into provincial competitions and finals. Only the players who win the provincial first prize in the provincial competitions can advance to the national competition (finals). The finals are usually held in Beijing.
Provincial time: from late March to early April every year
National competition time: around May every year

Award setting and selection method
Provincial
1. Contestants
will be awarded first, second, and third prizes for each group in the provincial competition, with the proportions of 10%, 20%, and 30% respectively . The total proportion is 60% of the actual number of participants , and zero-point scores will not be awarded. The first prize winners of the provincial competition will be directly qualified for the national finals. All winners will be awarded certificates jointly issued by the Talent Exchange Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Organizing Committee of the competition.
2. Instructor Award The instructors
of the winners in the provincial competition will be awarded the title of "Excellent Instructor of the Blue Bridge Cup National Software and Information Technology Professional Talent Competition (XX Division)".
3. The participating schools will award the units that have outstanding
performance in the organization of the competition and have been approved to meet the relevant conditions, and will be awarded the title of "Excellent Organization Unit of the Blue Bridge Cup National Software and Information Technology Professionals Competition (XX Division)";
Schools that meet the relevant conditions will be awarded the title of "Blue Bridge Cup National Software and Information Technology Professional Talent Competition (XX Division) Winning School".

The national finals will issue corresponding certificates and awards to the winning students, teachers and organizational units according to the participating projects and achievements. Among them:
1. Contestant Award
Individual competition will set up special, first, second, third prizes and excellent prizes according to the corresponding groups . In the final award setting, one special prize will be set for each group , the first prize shall be no more than 5% , the second prize shall be 20% , the third prize shall be no less than 25% , and the excellent prize shall be no more than 50% , with zero points. Rolls are not awarded.
All winners will receive a certificate of award jointly issued by the Talent Exchange Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Competition Organizing Committee.
The third prize and above contestants in the finals of the university group, if they have obtained the qualifications of the university to exempt from the examination and research, can obtain the priority interview and admission qualifications of well-known universities. In addition, dozens of well-known companies such as IBM, Baidu, Jinzheng Fortune, etc. provide internships and green channels for outstanding winners, and give priority to interviews, internships, and employment.

The Blue Bridge Cup competition is not the same as the ladder competition and ACM. There is no feedback mechanism for the answers submitted in the competition, which means that after you submit the answer, you do not know whether it is right or wrong. You can only know your award after the score is down.

The questions of the Blue Bridge Cup are not all programming questions like ACM, and there will be a few fill-in-the-blank questions ahead.
2. Knowledge points
There are basically not many algorithms involved in the Blue Bridge Cup. There are basically one or two algorithm questions every time, and there are many thinking questions.

1. Be careful, don't change the answer easily
It is precisely because of the competition mechanism of the Blue Bridge Cup that you cannot know whether you are doing the right thing like acm does, and if you are wrong, where is the mistake, so you must be careful and careful during the competition. All questions are submitted last. The answer prevails, so try not to change the answer without full confidence.
2. Use all available means
Because the Blue Bridge Cup has fill-in-the-blank questions, no process is required, so no matter how inefficient the algorithm is, even pure violence, as long as the thinking is correct, it can be used. In addition, you can use various methods such as WORD and EXCEL on the computer to solve the answer.
3. Seriously, step on the pit carefully! ! !
This is what I want to emphasize. The annual Blue Bridge Cup questions seem to be very simple, but if you really think about it like this, it will be over. The seemingly straight water questions often have hidden mysteries, and you will fall into the pit if you are not careful. There are not a few big guys who have stepped on the pit this year. . . Therefore, you must pay attention to reviewing the questions, and do not miss any details. After you have clearly understood the ideas of the questions, you should start doing it. Generally, 4 hours of time is enough for the competition, so don't be impatient! ! !
game summary
This is the first time I have participated in the Blue Bridge Cup. Generally speaking, I feel a lot, especially it is different from the usual ladder competitions, acms, etc. I can’t see whether I am right or wrong during the competition. There are advantages and disadvantages. , the advantage is that it will not affect your mood (because it feels right hahaha), the disadvantage is that sometimes very simple questions may be finished because of an inattentive pit. . .
There are still many pits in this competition. After stepping on the pits and pits, the mentality of walking out of the examination room with a pair of answers is simply collapsed. . . (So still don't answer right hahaha)
Although there are more pits, but later found that everyone has a little balance in their hearts after stepping on the pits/hands are funny
Also, the Blue Bridge Cup seems to be quite easy to win, because the problem is not difficult, as long as you are serious enough and careful enough, don't make mistakes, don't make mistakes, it's still easy to save the first prize, the national competition is in Beijing, or It was Peking University or another famous university.
