On the realization of a decentralized energy network, I only serve Hyperledger Composer!

Today, the decentralized energy network has become a key application of blockchain that we are exploring.

The idea stemmed from an energy exchange in a neighborhood. Residents in the block produce energy through solar panels and other means, and sell excess energy. Transactions are made based on the tokens in each household's account, and tokens are withdrawn from users and deposited into producers according to a predetermined contract and price.

Every transaction is added to a blockchain ledger to establish trust and perform verification. The network can include banks, so that tokens can be exchanged for fiat money (dollars) from banks; it can also include power companies, who can buy or provide energy through the network.

Today's code pattern demonstrates how to create such a blockchain application using Hyperledger Composer, and also shows how to expose the network and interact with it through a web interface.

This application demonstrates the basic concepts of a decentralized energy network and can be extended in many ways, including adding specific permissions and channels, setting up real-time transactions between participants, and even integrating IoT to read electricity meters and distribute energy .
