How CrossOver on Linux installs unknown applications

If you want to run Windows on your Mac , look for CrossOver

So, what should you do if you want to run Windows on Linux?

CrossOver Linux Unknown Program Installation Tutorial

1) First download the .exe installation package (or .msi file) of the Windows application that needs to be installed.

2) Next open the Install Software menu of CrossOver Linux and enter the name of the application.

3) Click Choose an installer to expand the section, then select the installer file.

4) Browse and select the installer file of the program, the path of the installation package you downloaded shall prevail.

5) You can click to install the software to a new WinXP container and see if you need to change the container name.

6) Next click the Continue Installation button in the lower right corner. CrossOver will first create a container to store the Windows application's files, then attempt to run the program's installer.

6) After the software jumps out of the installation interface, follow your installation steps on Windows. In general, you can leave all installation options at their default values. In general, when the Windows program's installer is complete and complete, CrossOver should report that the installation is complete.

8) Start your program.

Note: There is no Windows application folder on the Unity desktop in Ubuntu. You need to search for the launcher of the installed application by name.
