Kong 0.13.1 has been released, this is a minor release with some bug fixes and small new features.

Key Highlights:

• Most no memorybugs have been resolved

• Database cache misses are now stored in a separate memory area to reduce cache updates and improve performance and reliability

• Nginx now correctly redirects stdouttostderrkong start

• kong start Cassandra or PostgreSQL instance is now verified to be in a supported version range with a warning

Kong is a cloud-native, fast, scalable, and distributed microservice abstraction layer (also known as an API gateway) that extends functionality through plugins. Kong has two main components: an nginx-based server, Kong Server for receiving API requests; and Apache Cassandra for storing operational data.
