Windows7 word2010 part of a line of text is centered and part is right aligned

Just 4 easy steps

  1. Enter this line of text, such as "table 1-1 own table continuation table", where "table 1-1 own table" is the part that needs to be centered, and "continued table" is the part that needs to be right-aligned
  2. Show ruler: Click the sign in the upper right corner
    Show ruler

  3. The cursor is positioned in front of the text that needs to be centered, here is the front of "table 1-1 own table"

  4. Select "Centered Tabs" in the upper left corner
    Select Centered Tabs
  5. Select the middle position on the ruler and right-click. Here you need to manually select the middle position: a total of 40, right-click at the 20 position, and the center mark will appear on the ruler
Select the middle position on the ruler
  6. Press the keyboard's Tab key before the text that needs to be centered, and it's centered.
  7. Similar to "select the right-aligned tab - position on the ruler to the far right - press the tab key" before the text that needs to be right-aligned to right-align.
  8. effect achieved

  • Remarks: Center and right alignment need to be manually selected . For a more precise selection position, you can hold down the alt key at the same time. But haven't found a better way to automatically position the ruler.
