The complete and detailed process of moving the phpcms website to the server

If you want your website to be seen by people, you need to upload the server space, so that you can access the web page through the search domain name.

However, there will definitely be many things to be modified during the uploading process, such as how to upload the database, how to modify the path, and so on. . . . . These may be confusing for beginners, don't be afraid!

This will let you see the complete moving steps after you keep trying! ! !

You must have your own uploading tool. I am using the FLASHFXP software here~~~ Let's start my own uploading road~~~ Author: Yue~

1. Upload server

(1) Link your own server space (test space)

  a. Enter the ftp address

  b. Enter the ftp username

  c. Enter the ftp password

(2) Start uploading your own files

Because it is phpcms, first upload a complete phpcms installation file and install it, as shown in the figure:

(3) Install phpcms into the server

  a. Hit the local phpcms installation package file location, and the remote location also opens the location you want to install, as shown in the figure

I created a new folder in the remote location and uploaded phpcms into my newly created folder (right click and select --- transfer selected items)

  b. After the transfer is completed, it is installed

  (1) Enter the path of the remote phpcms installation package in the address bar of the browser, as shown in the figure:

  (2) Just install it, step by step, after the database installation step, fill in your own database information.

  (3) After the filling is completed, the installation starts~~ The installation is completed and the display is as shown:

  (4) You can log in to the background

(4) Upload local related files

Send your own local template files, style sheet files, js files, image files, etc. to the same location on the server. I won't go into details about this. Anyone who knows phpcms knows where to put it, as shown in the figure:

     under the folder

Upload to the specified location in the above picture in order

(5) Log in to the phpcms background on the server side and replace the background data

  a. Enter the username, password, and verification code to log in

  b. After successful login, modify the template to your own template and domain name (not much to say, you all know how to modify)

  c. Replace the database

  (1) Back up the local database information (enter the local background---extension---database tools---select data connection pool---start backup)

After the backup is completed, find the folder path: the sql file under the -------install_package\caches\bakup\default file in the phpcms folder (this is the file you backed up)

  (2) Upload the backup file to the corresponding location of the server (not much to say about how to upload, the steps of uploading are multilateral)

  (3) Board the remote phpcms background, repeat the steps in (1) to "Database Tools"-----change to -----"Data Import"------"Data Recovery", restore the database .

  d. After the above steps are completed, click Update Cache in phpcms, as shown in the figure:

After all the updates are complete, you can open the home page of your own website

(6) The above is done, and you can also visit your own web page, but there is one step, that is, the path of the picture or some other paths has not been completely changed, so you need to manually modify the file.

  a. Link to your own database, as shown in the figure:

  b. After the link is successful, open your own database, and then export your own database information (dump as a sql file)

Right-click your own database, and then select "dump sql file", you can select the save location of the file, as shown in the figure:

  c. Find your own dumped sql file, right-click -----Open with -----Notepad, open the sql file

  d. After opening, after selecting all, select the menu "Edit"----"Replace", open the replacement window, replace the local link with your own domain name link and then "Save"

  e. Select all the content, get the database to execute the statement, copy it to the create query window, and click "Run" to start executing your own database statement, as shown in the figure:

The above is the connection to manually update the database information, so that the data can be completely transferred to its own server. This is also the result of my own continuous attempts, I hope it can help partners who do not move with phpcms! !

In addition, in the process of making a website, I encountered something that I am not familiar with, that is, how to replace the verification code? This is very easy to do, I will continue to tell my friends in the next blog~~~~
