Subnet mask and AC AP wireless hotspot

I encountered a situation today. The default subnet mask is 255.255.0.0. As a result, the desktop computer can be connected, and the AP hotspot shows that the connection is disconnected.

After investigation, the subnet mask network segment is too broad to find the hotspot, and you can reconfigure 255.255.254.0.
