Project scene: wrong export after blender and Quixel bridge are used together
When the quixel bridge is installed for material mapping or the model is exported to blender, many users will report the following error: it will
not be able to export to blender, or it will prompt that the export is successful, but nothing is displayed in bld.
Causes and Solutions:
1. The combined use of bld and QB requires two plug-ins, one is installed in qb and the other is installed in bld .
Download and install the qb plugin under edit>manage plugins:
View the export target under the export setting of edit>.
The plug-in corresponding to bld can be found in the learn more below, or you can also find it in help>user manual in the qb menu bar. After downloading, install it to the place where the plug-in was installed in the past.
Check whether it is installed in bld, check it: that's all for the
plugin section.
2. The port number of the exported model needs to be consistent with the prompt. Generally, qb uses 28888
in the edit>setting of qb, and changes the API port (interface port number) to the same port number as the error prompt.
3. Make sure the above two conditions are correct. If the export is successful but there is still no corresponding thing in the bld, close both softwares, and the export can be successfully exported after restarting.
