Add a backup client to the configured Aishu backup system
1. Download and upload the client. Note that both operating systems of 5 and 6 use the client of 5, and others are on demand.
2. Upload the client to the operating system root directory /
2.1 After decompressing the tar zxvf Linux-****.tar.gz, an AnyBackupClient directory will be decompressed
2.2 Go to the /AnyBackupClient/ClientService directory
3. Install, execute ./install.sh
提示1、Do you agree that we will get privacy on the operating system?y(yes)/n(no): 选y回车
Tip 2. Do you wish to continue? y(yes)/n(no): choose y and press Enter
Tip 3. Please Input Self IP Address: Enter the local IP, which is the IP of the linux server
Tip 4. Please Input Server IP Address: Enter the IP of the Aishu server, that is, remove the front https:// and the back port number from the browser address.
Tip 5. Please choose the setup Language: Enter 1 to choose Chinese
Prompt 6. Do you want to enable SSL? Whether to use SSL, enter n and press Enter
Tip 7. Do you want to install CDP driver? y(yes)/n(no): Enter n and press Enter
Tip 8. Do you want to support other Database? y(yes)/n(no): Enter n and press Enter
Tip 9. Are you sure to install now? y(yes)/n(no): Enter y and press Enter
As shown in the figure above, the installation is successful.
4. Allocate resources
4.1 Use the security administrator account to log in to the Aishu system
4.2 Select Resource, Client, and find the server name of the client you just installed on the right. and confirm the IP address
4.3 After confirmation, check the server, select Assign, and select the operator.
4.4 Click Assign to assign the client to the operator. Prompt: Assignment successful.
5. Operator operation.
5.1 Use the operator account to log in to Aishu system and select timed data protection----data backup----new
5.2 Find the corresponding client name, generally for linux systems, we back up the file system, click Next
5.3 Select the directory you want to back up, and you can add related exclusion options on the right. Click Next
5.4 Select backup media and backup options. Generally select data compression and deduplication, click Next
5.5 Fill in the task name and task description, and click Finish
5.6 Confirm the task information and determine whether to execute it immediately. Generally, it does not need to be executed immediately, because you need to configure the backup policy and other information, click OK
5.7 Select the backup task you just created in the scheduled task, check it and click the backup strategy
5.8 Backup strategy can be set in Scheduled Data Protection---Policy Template
5.9 Select the backup strategy and click OK.
5.10 Click the newly created task again, and click Add Data Retention Policy Template in the Policy option.

Note: The backup policy template and data retention policy template can be set in the policy template 5.12 after completing the above operations. Check your tasks in Scheduled Data Protection-----Data Backup
5.13 Click Start to perform an initial backup.
