Recently, I was learning Linux. When I needed to create a virtual machine, I found that my 64 system could only install 32 Ubuntu in VBox. As shown
After searching, I found that my CPU does not have virtualization turned on. The process of checking whether to enable virtualization is as follows:
press the key combination to ctrl + alt + delete
select 任务管理器
, and
then we will set it to be enabled. You need to enter the BIOS to enable it.
Here are the steps to turn it on:
1. From the Start menu, select Settings
2. Select Update & Security
3. Find Recovery---->Restart Now
4. Select Troubleshoot
5. Select advanced options
6. UEFI firmware settings
7. Select Restart
8. Enter the BIOS interface and press F10
It can be seen that virtualization is disabled. Press the
button Enter
to turn
it on and be sure to save it! and exit
Then check the CPU and find that virtualization is turned on!
After reopening VBox, I found that 64-bit can be created!
You're done!
