In terms of industry structure, the cloud era will make software, hardware and services more efficient, and more storage, servers, data centers, networks, software definition and virtualization and other related technologies, open sharing and common progress.
And open sharing also needs to make full use of hardware resources, and rational use can reflect the high efficiency of the enterprise. The most basic hardware rationalization and virtualized allocation of resources can make resources more fully utilized.
For example, a server recently purchased by our company, 12 CPUs x Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X5670 @ 2.93GHz, 128G memory, if you just install a different type of product tool, you can’t make good use of resources, nor Better resource isolation, fault fusing, etc., so we installed ESXI on the machine and then reasonably cut the resources, and performed full backups, incremental snapshots, etc. to prevent service problems, and can quickly restore, as follows, in full During the backup process, the running services are installed, shut down first, then right-click, export, and back up to the local.
Because I am a Google browser, it will download to the C drive by default, as shown below:
If the service occupies a large space, the backup time will be longer at this time. The backup export is backed up to the local end, for example:
This is a well-backed up service. If you need to restore the backed-up and exported service, you can restore it as follows. Click "Create/register virtual machine" as follows:
Then select storage
Then step by step
After you run for a period of time, new data is generated. If you do a good job of incremental backup for the day, in case the data is modified in batches and cannot operate normally, you can perform a snapshot backup before the modification, as follows:
In this way, in case you make a mistake, you can quickly revert to before the modification.
