ArcGIS Portal adds two-dimensional new basemap

1. Publish tile cache service

First publish the tile cache service that will serve as the base map.

2. Create a group

The default group in Portal is Featured Maps and Apps. Here you can create a new group for sharing basemaps.

3. Add basemap

Add a base map and save it as a Webmap

If you need to set it as the default basemap, you need to share it with the previously created group.

4. Share and set default

Share to the group, and then in the organization's settings, map can set the group's webmap as the default basemap.

Select and set the corresponding group:

After that, you can have your own default basemap in MapViewer, or you can switch between your own multiple basemaps, but all basemap service coordinate systems and slicing schemes are required to be consistent.

5. The problem that the basemap image cannot be displayed

Solution:
-View the item id corresponding to the webmap-
search in portal, search in C:\arcgisportal\content\items

You will find that the thumbnail folder is missing:

create pictures by yourself, or copy pictures from other services. Such problems generally occur when copying and deploying existing slices.
