HBase 2.2.5 is the latest version of the HBase 2.2 series. The goal is to continue to bring a stable and reliable database to the Apache big data ecosystem. Compared with the 2.2.4 version, the 2.2.5 version includes a total of 85 bug fixes and improvements. For a detailed list of improvements, please refer to:

Note: The two interfaces of RemoteHTable and RemoteAdmin have some incompatible modifications in this version.
Because these two interfaces have been used exclusively for testing, they are marked as private classes in version 2.2.5. For more details, please refer to HBASE-24115 .
