The AMiner platform (https://www.aminer.cn) was developed by the Department of Computer Science of Tsinghua University and has completely independent intellectual property rights in China. The platform contains more than 230 million academic papers/patents and 136 million scholars' science and technology maps, and provides professional scientific and technological information services such as scholar evaluation, expert discovery, intelligent assignment, and academic maps. The system was launched in 2006 and attracted more than 10 million unique IP visits from 220 countries/regions around the world, with 2.3 million data downloads and more than 11 million annual visits. It has become an important data and experimental platform for academic search and social network mining research.
