Programmer keyboard

As the saying goes: If a worker wants to do his job well, he must first sharpen his tools. As a programmer, it is difficult to perfectly display your hidden strength without good equipment.

Speaking of programmer’s equipment, the first thing that can be thought of is the keyboard. As a profession that takes a long time to type code, it is impossible to not have a keyboard that is handy. If it is smaller, it will impair work efficiency, and if it is larger, it will be damaged. Own hands are not responsible for your career. Below I will combine my personal experience to introduce to you some of the keyboards that I have used that are worth starting with.

Since most of what I introduced are mechanical keyboards, I will do some popular science for students who don’t know much about it. Old drivers can skip it directly.

About the axis

When it comes to mechanical keyboards, even if you haven't used them, you will definitely hear others discuss that the xx axis is easy to use, and the xx axis is difficult to use. So here is a brief introduction about the axis of the mechanical keyboard. Common mechanical keyboards include black axis, tea axis, red axis, and green axis.

Black shaft :

The pressure in grams is 58.9g±14.7g, the keystroke is 1.5mm (the keystroke here refers to how far you can press it to trigger), the black axis has a higher pressure, so it takes some effort to press it. So it is not recommended for novices or people who type for a long time like me. If you have a stronger hand, it is still more recommended, after all, the black shaft is more durable.

Tea shaft :

The pressure in grams is 44.1g±14.7g, and the keystroke is 2.0mm. Due to the small pressure, it is more suitable for people who type for a long time.

Red axis :

The pressure in grams is 44.1g±14.7g, and the key travel is 2.0mm. I personally feel that the difference between the red axis and the tea axis is not very big, and it is more suitable for people who type for a long time. However, the red axis feels closer to the membrane keyboard, so it is also relatively It is recommended to use it as a transition.

Green axis :

The pressure in grams is 58.9g±14.7g, the key travel is 2.4mm, and the green axis key travel is longer. It also has a crisp feeling when hitting, but the disadvantage is that the sound is too loud. It is not recommended to use in the office unless you are sitting at the boss. At the door of the office, it can make you look like you love work.

About the introduction of the axis is like this, to sum up, as a programmer, you still give priority to the tea axis, if there are some special circumstances, you can also choose according to your own preferences.

About key positions

The keyboard generally has two key positions 87 and 104. Choose this according to your own preferences, and see if you are accustomed to using the small keyboard. Personally, I am accustomed to using the number keys above, so I usually choose the 87 key.

Based on various choices, you will find that you are still using Logitech's keyboard. . .
