The Profile of SAP PP ECR specifies which data objects can be modified with it
For the maintenance of some key data objects on the project, it is necessary to realize the creation of ECR. When the author is not busy, I like to do some research on some functions I am interested in. SAP ECR is one of the SAP function points that I am interested in.
1) Execute transaction code CC31, create a new ECR,
Profile is CN##,
Click the Object Types button,
The author found that the data objects allowed to be modified and the modification method of this ECR have been stipulated and cannot be modified. As shown above.
How is this achieved?
2. After research, the author found that this is specified by the profile of the initial interface of the transaction code CC31.
Let's take a look at the definition of the Profile. The configuration path is as follows:
Click on the Maintain profile configuration item and find CN##this profile,
Select it to see its detailed information, as shown below:
Its data type profile is Z###DATA.
Click the "Object type profile (overview)" button on the left, as shown below:
Note: The configuration field'Override' of the object type profile Z###DATA is not checked! This is the key!
Look at the detail of the object type profile Z###DATA,
Here is the definition of which data objects can be modified by the ECR of the Data Type Profile Z###DATA, such as BOM/ROS/Inspection Plan/Maser Recipe and so on.
