H6228E is a step-down LED constant current driver in continuous inductor current conduction mode, used to drive one or more LED strings.
The working voltage of H6228E is from 4v to 60v, and it provides adjustable output current, the output current can reach 1.5A. According to different input voltages and external devices, H6228E can drive LEDs up to tens of watts.
The H6228E has a built-in power switch, a high-end current detection circuit, and a dimming pin DIM compatible with PWM and analog dimming. When the voltage of the DIM pin is lower than 0.3v, the output is turned off and enters the standby state.
The H6228E has a built-in over-temperature protection circuit. When the chip reaches the over-temperature protection point, it enters the over-temperature protection mode, and the output current gradually decreases to improve system reliability.
The H6228E circuit architecture makes the output current without overshoot during low-dropout operation, and improves the working life of the LED. The H6228E constant current circuit has excellent load regulation and linear regulation.
H6228E is available in SOT89-5 and ESOP8 packages.
