When you right-click and select New Database, you can see the path you want (perhaps?). I copied the .bak file to C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL11.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\Backup
Right-click and select Restore database:
select device, browse:
file, add: now
, you can try if the path is on the desktop.
