Raspberry Pi WiFi connection problem and the solution of webpage opening problem
1. Problem description I
bought a Raspberry Pi 4b online some time ago and planned to make a face recognition smart lock. Some time ago, I caught up with the final exam and squeezed time to do face recognition and human infrared perception modules. Simple to achieve the expected function, there is no specific record if there is not enough time. Finally the exam is over and the summer vacation begins. There is time to go back and summarize the previous paragraph. There is no particularly good idea. I think about what I encountered from the beginning to the completion. Record the problem again. The first problem recorded is the Raspberry Pi network problem.

The specific problem of the Raspberry Pi connected to the WiFi is shown in the figure:
Although the WiFi can be searched as shown in the figure, my home WiFi is (Tenda_3F3598). I tried to connect to the WiFi many times and entered the password N times to ensure that the password is correct. Still can’t connect to WiFi
. Don’t worry if you encounter this problem. There are the following two situations, just see which one you can do.
FIRST:
(1) First confirm that the network cable can be connected to the Internet;
(2) After reinstalling the system, do not change the theme first. We tried once and changed the wifi-logo in the upper right corner of the theme and disappeared;
(3) I can’t find my own wifi name in the wifi list, but there are quite a few in the next door. I found a v2ex article and said that it was because the Raspberry Pi we bought was imported, and the wifi channel did not match the Chinese one. . . So I changed the channel from 13 to 7 on my router. It seems to be useful after the change. You can try
SECOND:
The second condition is not a problem with the Raspberry Pi. You need to check whether your router is available. It is possible. The signal problem, the number of people allowed to access the router is full, of course, maybe restart the router below to connect (to tell you quietly, I tried many methods at the time, it is best to restart the router to connect successfully)
2. The Raspberry Pi WiFi is connected but the webpage cannot be opened. I
believe that most people who just started using the Linux system will encounter this problem. Of course, the version of Linux rasberrpi 4.19.118-v7l used by my Raspberry Pi. By the way, you can use commands uname -ato view the version information of the system.
Of course, I played ros for a while before, and I used Linux system, but Ubuntu. At that time, I also encountered the problem of the webpage being unable to access the Internet. At the beginning, I always thought it was a network problem. Now I have stepped on the pit and know that it is a browser setting problem. Next, I will summarize the modification process of the specific browser, so you can check it out.
After opening the browser as shown in the figure, click the hidden option in the upper right corner, and then click Design to enter the browser setting interface.
Then find the search engine column, click Manage search engine, enter the search engine setting interface, as shown in the figure:
You can set your own search engine as shown in the figure, don’t use the system default, which has no outlets, you can change it It is a commonly used search engine. As shown in the picture, I chose Baidu’s. After the selection is completed, it is shown in the picture:
Then open the webpage again to search and you can find that the search can be carried out normally, which proves that the network can go online.
As shown in the figure, the network connection is successful: So far, the Raspberry Pi WiFi connection problem and the web page opening problem have been solved satisfactorily. This is just a small problem encountered at the beginning, and some more troublesome problems encountered later, recently I will sort them out when I have time, and I hope I can take a long look at it, so I can avoid stepping on the pit next time, I hope I will continue to improve, and come on.
