The newly released version 7.17 adds new features to track and manage the complete lineage from data sources to application entities. In addition, the latest version also includes a new combined machine learning (ML) process for data scientists; C3 AI CRM (C3 AI customer relationship management), C3 AI Anti-Money Laundering (C3 AI anti-money laundering), C3 AI Energy Management ( C3 AI Energy Efficiency Management), C3 AI Production Schedule Optimization (C3 AI Production Schedule Optimization) and C3 AI Reliability (C3 AI Reliability) application improvements; and a new enterprise AI application for the oil and gas industry C3 AI Well Development Optimization (C3 AI exploratory well engineering optimization).

The latest platform enhancements and features of C3 AI Suite include:
- Comprehensive data, features, and model lineage : Improvements in enterprise AI application development tools include a new comprehensive data, feature, and model lineage component that enables developers and end users to understand the lineage of their applications and AI/ML results.
- Enhanced time series feature generation: The latest version significantly speeds up feature engineering and model development. The enhanced function can realize faster feature parameterization, more comprehensive statistical transformation and more complete feature selection for use in the C3 AI ML process.
- New combined ML process: The latest version expands the ever-expanding C3 AI ML process library, including four new processes to speed up model development, including deep learning pipelines for prediction and linear quantile regression for probabilistic prediction pipeline. The C3 AI ML process also adds SHAP (Shapley Additive Explanations) to the existing interpretability framework to provide better model interpretability support.
- Cloudy Kubernetes service: as part of ongoing Kubernetes / OpenShift part of the standardization of the latest version are supported Kubernetes services in all the clouds.
- New pre-built data connectors: C3 AI's Virtual Data Lake framework has improved performance and scalability, including Snowflake, Spark/Databricks, S3, Microsoft Power BI, Azure Data Lake and Microsoft Dynamics 365 connectors, The C3 AI Suite's pre-built data connector library is further expanded. - C3 AI Production Schedule Optimization improvements include a new user interface, object model improvements and more combined ML processes. - C3 AI Well Development Optimization is a new oil and gas application that optimizes upstream drilling costs and reduces non-productive time risks such as stuck drilling, lost circulation and drilling recovery.
