Finer Focus for Mac is a desktop enhancement tool that can greatly reduce or even eliminate all desktop visual disturbances. In the absence of interference, it is easier to be creative, easier to concentrate, and easier to complete the work. In addition, the movie atmosphere created by Finer Focus simply makes the Mac cooler to use. Finer Focus eliminates interference by dimming, blurring and dimming the desktop elements around the front-end application window.
Software introduction
These elements include the Dock, menu bar, desktop icons and background windows. This keeps the front window bright and sharp, while the surrounding elements will only melt. Try to use 16 built-in Finer Focus themes. Each theme has its own characteristics, such as color and various amounts of dimming, blur and fade in and out.
Control the speed at which Finer Focus reacts to your actions and choose from various methods to temporarily hide all Finer Focus effects (if you wish to do so). This gives you complete control of Finer Focus and the desktop environment.

How it works
"Fine Focus" can darken, blur and fade the distracting elements on the desktop, thereby providing you with a more elegant and cinematic environment in which you can fine-tune the focus and enhance the workflow.
However, when you need it, just hover your mouse over these elements and they will brighten and become sharp and usable again.
When you bring the new window to the forefront, it will be highlighted, and the previous window will be quietly darkened, blurred or faded in the background.
Finer Focus can work perfectly with the following functions:

With Finer Focus, you can control the color and amount of darkening. You can choose the degree and amount of blur and fade.
First browse the themes provided, and then select each theme from the icons in the Finer Focus menu bar to view your favorite themes.
If the theme works for you as is, that's great. If not, you can customize it to your liking.

After determining the theme, you can customize the theme by selecting "Settings..." from the icons in the Finer Focus menu bar.
Here, you can independently specify the operation to be performed:

Finally, how much is needed:
Blur your desktop and icons.
Blur the menu bar.
Blur your dock.
Note: The "Do whatever you want" theme allows you to choose its dim color.

In the settings, you can also optimize various functions of Finer Focus itself.
Click the Options tab:
speed
You can specify how fast you want Finer Focus to react to the Mac environment.
This will control the speed at which elements darken, blur, and fade.
display
Sometimes, you want Finer Focus to reveal all the elements of the Mac, such as the Finder desktop being the active window, or drag and drop between windows.
For these (and other) occasions, you can control when and how Finer Finer displays these elements.
mouse
When you move the mouse away from the front window that is in use, you can make the Finer Focus display clearer.
By default, this setting is the minimum display volume, so it will not have any effect. However, this is useful if you dim the subject to a very dark level. When you hover your mouse over the dark area, Finer Focus will show the elements behind it.
Active desktop
You can indicate the number to be displayed when the Finder desktop is set as the active window.
keyboard
For the time you want to display manually, you can configure Finer Focus to do so when CapsLock is enabled or the Option key is held down. You can also indicate how much to disclose in these situations.
Crystal clear
If you want to display for a long time, you can simply choose the "Crystal Clear" theme, which is equivalent to turning off "Fine Focus".
