Axure 9 actual case, the application of basic components 1, use Axure to design the video cover

Preface

Hello everyone! Welcome to the Axure 9 practical case tutorial column. Click to understand the course introduction >>

This column aims to explain the advanced operation of Axure 9 from the perspective of actual combat cases, to help you learn the design thinking of product prototypes in each case, and quickly improve your actual combat ability.

Here is a special topic, there are difficulties, and practical cases of Axure. It is suitable for product managers over 1 year old, or students who are ready for advanced learning after getting started with Axure. I hope to learn and grow with everyone in the following tutorials.

With the advent of Douyin, video clips became popular. A short video with hot traffic is inseparable from an eye-catching video cover. In the first lesson of the column, I will bring you an interesting tutorial, which is to use Axure to design a video cover.

Step 1: Insert or design a background image

If you have a suitable ready-made background image material, you can drag it directly into Axure. Usually the background material has larger pixels. Axure will prompt whether to optimize. Optimization will drop frames. We choose No. Of course, the video cover should be clearer. The better; then right-click, select crop image, and crop the material to the required size of the cover.

If there are no ready-made materials, we can design a simple gradient background image. Open Axure 9, drag in a rectangle 2, set x and y to 0, and set H and W to the required size. Here we take 1600×900 as an example. And zoom the canvas to 80%, so it is more convenient to design.

Set the size to 1600×900 and the zoom canvas to 80%

Click the fill color in the toolbar, select linear, set the gradient color of the rectangle, and then click the flip icon to flip the gradient from vertical to horizontal. Drag the two ends of the gradient line on the rectangle to adjust to the appropriate gradient direction.

Click the fill color and set it to linear gradient

Flip to a horizontal gradient, drag the gradient line to change the gradient direction

Step 2: Design the title

We first drag in a first-level heading to use as a headline, then select a font, change the font size, and then change the font color. After the basic settings are set, enter the text we want.

Drag in the first-level title, set the font, size, color

Then drag in a three-level heading to be used as a subtitle, and then follow the same operations as the headline to modify the font, size, and color, and then enter the correct text; set the length of the subtitle to be the same as the length of the headline (here 770), Then adjust the line spacing to 60.

Set length and line spacing

Select the size title, set it to align to the left, combine the size titles, and then drag the title combination to align the middle of the title to the background image.

Step 3: Design LOGO

First adjust the horizontal position of the title to make room for the LOGO, then drag in a rectangle 2, fill it with white, and modify the size to 500×500, and then drag the rectangle to a suitable position.

Drag into the rectangle and set it to white 500×500

Then drag in our LOGO or video screenshot, modify it to a suitable size (here it is 480), drag to align the white rectangle, and then combine the LOGO parts. Let's take a look at it and make partial adjustments to the title and LOGO, such as rectangle and LOGO set rounded corners.

Drag in LOGO or video screenshot

Step 4: Beautify the font

Select the headline, click the text shadow in the style on the right column, check the shadow, set X and Y to 5, we add a shadow to the headline; adjust the background color and opacity appropriately to make the title more three-dimensional. Use the same method again to shade the subtitle.

Set the text shadow of the headline

Conclusion

Through the first four steps of setting, you can quickly design a simple and generous video cover. After finishing, you can click "File_Export xxx picture" to export the picture.
