2019/7/3 learning summary

1 Technical writing part

Today, I mainly learned the basic specifications of science and engineering papers in class.
The whole article should be emphasized: the third person; objective narration;
and the issue of signature.

1.1 Title

The title is a word or phrase, not a sentence! Be specific, don’t miss it, and it’s better if it is attractive.

1.2 Abstract

Summary of the three-sentence routine: 1. What did you do; 2. What you found (what is the conclusion) 3. What's the use (where is the innovation ) Long and short-sighted, generally not long. Write the complete article and then the summary, don't copy the conclusion!

1.3 Keywords

Chinese and English must correspond one by one! It must be a meaningful phrase or phrase that best reflects the characteristics of the paper. (Of course no meaningless or ordinary words are allowed) 3-5, more or less will not work.

1.4 Introduction (Introduction)

Writing mode: study the general background (one sentence, concise and to the point) -> previous work -> new self-employment, we must write where the innovation is. ——>What's the application (optional)

1.5 Materials and methods

The materials and methods can be stated in a logical order, which is clear to facilitate repeated experiments by colleagues.

1.6 Experimental part

Only narrate the process (purpose, time, place, step means), and do not explain the principle of the means used.
The process should be described in detail.

1.7 Conclusion

There are routines to follow in this part . Conclusion There will be several short paragraphs written from different angles in different disciplines . Summarize the conclusion by yourself, and the data should be counted and processed. The results should objectively evaluate "whether the experiment succeeded or failed".

1.8 Discussion section

Explain what is behind the experiment, return to theory from experiment, popularize, compare one's own results with industry peers, and propose ideas. (The most stringent, but not too long)

1.9 Acknowledgements

1.a References
