ArcGIS coordinate conversion function --- instead of Data Interoperability

      The import and export functions of Data Interoperability Tools before ArcGIS 10.2 integrate the functions of FME, which can easily realize the format and coordinate conversion of any coordinate system in any format, which is very convenient. In our daily work, we often encounter files of different formats: mainly the conversion of three formats of shp, dwg and tiff. The coordinate system is mainly the conversion between WGS84, BJ54 and Xi’an 80, and also includes projection conversion. He was born in surveying and mapping, and he may not understand.

     I have been using arcgis 10.2. For a while the year before, I came across some high-version mxd files. Since there was no high-version mxd file, I had to switch to the high-version arcgis software, but I searched the Internet and found Data The Interoperability Tools function cannot be added, but I tried it and searched a lot of guides on the Internet. Even if it is installed, it cannot be used. Recently, I searched for ArcGIS 10.2 red box ArcTool BOx and found that Data manage Tools/Projections and Transformations has provided similar functions to FME, and I think the higher version is also possible.

    Let's take Xi'an 80-dwg to wgs84 as an example to illustrate the problem:

    (1) First, establish and use the projection coordinate system of Xi'an 80-dwg;

    (2) Establish the conversion parameters of Xi'an 80 to WGS84, Data manage Tools/Projections and Transformations/CreateCustomGeoTransformation;

          Enter the three conversion parameters and see if it is from Xi'an 80 to WGS84 or WGS84 to Xi'an 80, there is a negative sign between them

    (3) Convert the four layers of CAD into WGS84 coordinates one by one;

       使用Data manage Tools/Projections and Transformations/Feature/Project;

    (4) Batch conversion is also available, you need to remember the name of the conversion parameter you just created

        使用Data manage Tools/Projections and Transformations/Feature/Batch Project;

    (5) Sometimes, we know the coordinate system of some pictures or shp files, but it does not have its own coordinate system files. For example, shp lacks prj files, tif lacks tif word files, and then we need to develop its coordinate system. Coordinate transfer still has to be operated, you need to use Data manage Tools/Projections and Transformations/Define Projection

    It can be seen from the above conversion that Data manage Tools/Projections and Transformations can completely replace the import/export function of Data InterOperability. Therefore, if you want a higher version of arcgis, but also want the format and coordinate system conversion function, you can try the method in this article.
