Layer concept

Double-click the name text on the layer to rename it

Hold down the Alt key to drag = copy layer and move

Hold down the Ctrl key and click on the layer thumbnail to select the image in the layer

 

 

PNG format can save pictures without background

If saved in other formats, the background white will be automatically generated
