[INDIRECT] function teaches you to make a multi-level drop-down menu

For example, choose the corresponding province according to the region, and choose the corresponding city according to the province. How should this be done?

Specific operation method:

Step1: First set the drop-down menu options of the area. The method of making is relatively simple. Select the column of "Area", click the [Data] tab, and then select the [Data Verification] button in the "Data Tools" group; in the pop-up [ In the Data Verification] dialog box, in the [Settings] option group, the verification condition allows the drop-down button to select "Sequence", and the data source selects the content that needs to be entered in the drop-down menu (or directly enter, separated by commas), and then confirm.

Step2: Define the name of the "region", select the cell area where the province belonging to the "Northeast" region is located, then enter "Northeast" in the upper left corner, and then press the "Ent" Enter key to complete the definition of "Northeast"

Step3: Select cell C2, click the [Data] tab, and then select the [Data Verification] button in the "Data Tools" group; in the pop-up [Data Verification] dialog box, in the [Settings] option group, verify conditions Allow the drop-down button to select "Sequence" in the data source, enter the formula: =INDIRECT(B2), and then drag the formula down

Step4: Similarly, define the name for the "province", then select cell D2, click the [Data] tab, and then select the [Data Validation] button in the "Data Tools" group; in the pop-up [Data Validation] dialog box , In the [Settings] option group, the verification condition allows the drop-down button to select "Sequence", enter the formula in the data source: =INDIRECT(C2), and then drag the formula down, the operation method is similar to Step2 and Step3;
