Although both can support 10GBase-T transmission, there are obvious differences in transmission length. Although the digital signal processing technology has made great progress at this stage, the mutual interference between cables cannot be detected. Compared with the traditional CAT6 cables, the crosstalk between cables is greatly reduced. From this point of view, the CAT6 cables are obviously better. In addition, Category 6 cables are fully compatible with the widely used plug-in module (RJ45), while Category 6 cables are currently unable to do this.
2. Shielded and unshielded
Super Category 6 cables have two types: shielded and unshielded. Both can support a 10-Gigabit channel length of 100 meters, but there are obvious differences in structure. Super Category 6 unshielded cables only have a shielding layer on the outside, and the four pairs of twisted cables inside have no shielding layer and are only separated and fixed by a cross-shaped frame in the middle. In addition to the outer shielding layer of the Super Category 6 shielded cable, the inner four pairs of twisted cables are also shielded by aluminum foil. Due to this special shielding layer structure, in the wiring, there will be almost no external crosstalk between the Category 6 shielded cables, and only the two ends of the shielding need to be grounded. But if you use a Category 6 unshielded twisted pair system, you need to consider the issue of alien crosstalk.
There are generally two solutions to solve the problem of crosstalk between unshielded Super Category 6 lines. One is to ensure a sufficiently large spacing during construction to minimize the effect of crosstalk between wires; the other is to thicken the cable sheath, which increases the spacing of the bundled cable sheaths to reduce external crosstalk Impact.
As a result, the production cost of unshielded Category 6 cables is increased (usually, the outer diameter of Category 6 shielded cables is about 7.5mm, while the outer diameter of Category 6 unshielded cables is about 9mm. 3. Precautions for cabling of

Compared with other cables, Category 6 cables are heavier in weight, which also makes the construction of Category 6 cables more difficult. The cable has developed to Category 6 and its wire diameter has increased to 0.6mm (23AWG), and a cross frame is added in the middle of the core, which is the main reason for the increase in the weight of Category 6 cables. Larger wire diameters will lead to increased requirements for cable duct space and load-bearing, and vertical wiring space in the cabinet.
Therefore, when wiring, you must consider how many Cat 6 cables can be accommodated by the cable tray you are using. It is recommended that a bundle of Cat 6 cables should not exceed 50. In addition, the location of the cable tray is also critical: it must be ensured that the Super Category 6 cable is placed at the bottom to prevent it from crushing other smaller diameter cables.
Super Category 6 cables have a larger bending radius (except for very few). Generally speaking, the larger the wire diameter, the larger the bending radius. Due to the large bending radius, you need to reserve enough space behind the wall socket or the end of the cable tray when wiring.
Super Category 6 cables are not suitable for binding with plastic ties. Category 6 cables are fragile and fragile. It is best to use loose hook and loop cable ties instead of plastic ties.
