GoCD 21.1.0 released, continuous integration and release management system

GoCD 21.1.0 has been released. GoCD is a continuous integration and release management system. Its predecessor is CruiseControl. It is an open source continuous integration tool developed by ThoughtWorks when doing consulting and delivery projects. Later, with the popularity of continuous integration and continuous deployment, ThoughtWorks established a project team to develop this tool based on Cruise.

Updates include fixing security issues and function enhancements and optimizations.

Fix security issues

This version has made important security fixes for the communication between the agent and the server. The development team recommends that all users upgrade to version 21.1.0 to protect their own GoCD server.

No details of the security breach have been disclosed yet.

Webhook support for Config warehouse

Starting from GoCD 21.1.0, the Config repository can be refreshed or updated through Webhook triggers. The Config repository page will now display the URL required to configure the same repository (when automatic update is turned off).

Function optimization

  • Optimize UX: Add search function to the page  #8900

Bugfix

  • Fix the problem of duplicate records: config/cipher and config/go.feature.toggles files cannot be found
