Abstract: Those who do 3D printing generally use Magics software. If you don't do 3D printing, it is necessary to learn about Magics software, which will be used in the future. This article briefly introduces what Magics software is, how to set it to Chinese, how to find the lost tool page, and the commonly used zooming and stretching operations.

1. What is Magics?
Magics is a software for processing STL data developed by Materialise for rapid prototyping. It is easy to learn and use, and its powerful Boolean function is popular among users.
Yes, STL data can be processed. For most people, STL is an unmodifiable file that is exported after the original author has completed the design. The characteristic of STL files is that all surfaces are represented by triangles.
Before Magics, if you want to make changes to the STL model, it is simply impossible. it's OK now. You can add, delete, cut, stretch, etc. The modified file can still be used for 3D printing.
2. Set Magics to Chinese
After the default installation is complete, the Magics interface is in English
Next find the settings button, the appearance is a gear.
Select General, then change the language, and that's it.
Set to chinese
Next, the Magics will be prompted to restart.
Look, the interface is now in Chinese, it will be more convenient to operate, no need to deliberately think about which function is where.
3. Customize the toolbar
The custom toolbar is written here, not because of how complicated the operation is, but mainly to solve the problem of not being found after turning off a certain toolbar by mistake.
When I was using it, I accidentally turned off the parts list, and I couldn't find it anyhow. It was a delay!
As shown in the figure below, the tool page is on the far right. I cut the part into 2 pieces.
The parts list page is accidentally lost, which directly affects the export of parts.
The solution is to set options
Re-check "Parts List" on the tool page in the custom interface, and the problem is solved.

4.Magics zoom parts
First open the model.
Select zoom as shown below
The zoom factor is very simple, just enter it directly

The size is really doubled
5.Magics stretching operation
Use the "mark plane" function to mark the plane of the selected part. After the mark is completed, it will be green.
As shown in the figure below, select stretch
Enter the stretched distance, and this will become a platform.
