And some mature database products, such as Oracle database, have also gone through the whole process from stand-alone, cluster to distributed, and the technological evolution of Oracle database is always worthy of our study and reference.
So in the current Oracle, MySQL, and various open source and domestic databases, how should users choose?
Gai Guoqiang believes that users should choose the most dynamic technology ecology. There are a wide range of Oracle DBA groups in China, as well as the most extensive PostgreSQL kernel developers. The Ingres project started by Professor Michael Stonebraker has the most extensive technical influence in the database field. Many database products are derived from PostgreSQL.
