GnuCash 4.3 has been released, which is the fourth version of the stable 4.x series. GnuCash is a financial software suitable for individuals or small businesses. It is open sourced under the GPL agreement and supports GNU / Linux, BSD, Solaris, Mac OS X and Microsoft Windows. GnuCash is easy to use and powerful. It can track bank accounts, stocks, income and expenses. It can also ensure account balance and provide accurate reports based on professional accounting principles.
Between 4.2 and 4.3, the following bug fixes were completed:
- Error 128772-account help button does not work
- Bug 309943-When the lock cannot be obtained, there is no option to open another database.
- Bug 330930-If you use automatic decimal places, the financial calculator will reset the payment period to zero
- Bug 343647-[rfe] save tab/report location
- Bug 345924-RFE: Do not disable the "OK" button after modifying the chart options with "Apply"

The following fixes and improvements are not related to the error report:
- Add a custom unbound-variable exception report program in guile to identify which module provides the missing symbol
- Balsheet-PNL report: show the most recent period first by default
- Add the account name to the "read-only-register" dialog, because in some cases it may not be clear which registration the message applies to.
- Strictly use use-modules to import Scheme symbols: Guile 3.0 does not like alternatives. If the sources of these symbols have not been compiled and they have not been symlinked into the builddir, it may cause problems with resolving symbols.
- If the first attempt results in an html error, please do not try to reload the report.
- Barcharts: Limit the drill-down depth of the account to 6.
- I18N: glossary: add mortgage term ARM, APR, FRM
