IBM P570 replacement fan

1. Check the system log, the first production time and the latest time of the error, determine the cabinet number of the machine, determine the system hardware location, determine the fan location; record the machine SN number;
2. log in to ASM and identify the cabinet;
3. remove the LCD panel --Remove the CDROM (you do not need to remove the LCD panel when replacing the A2 fan)
4. Pull out the LCD panel and CDROM;
5. Pull out the faulty fan; the left position is A1, the right is A2
6. Insert the new fan-insert the CDROM- -Plug in the control panel; turn on the LCD panel and CDROM in ASM;
7. Enter the system, diag for system testing; then use errpt to check whether a new error log is generated;
8. Use diag or ASM or HMC after no error log is generated Turn off the warning light;
9. The customer confirms and fills in the service report form and signs the customer.
