There are two types of triodes, namely NPN type triode and PNP type triode.
The triode has three nodes in total, namely the base, collector and emitter, which are represented by English letters as b, c, and e.
The tertiary tube has two junctions, the collector junction and the launch junction. The collector junction is located between the collector and the base, and the emitter junction is located between the emitter and the base.
The triode has three states, namely amplification, saturation and cut-off. The triode will be cut off when the collector junction and the emitter junction are reverse biased at the same time. When the collector junction and the emitter junction are forward biased at the same time, the triode will saturate. When the collector junction and the emitter junction are biased, the triode will amplify. Reverse bias refers to the voltage of the PN junction P greater than the voltage of N, and forward bias refers to the voltage of N greater than the voltage of P.
When the transistor is cut off, Ube=0, Uce=Vcc
When the transistor is amplified, Ube=0.3v, Uce is between 0.6v and 0.7
When the transistor is saturated, Ube=0.3v, Uce=0.7v
When the transistor is in the amplified state Ic=βIb, β is the magnification factor determined by the type of transistor, Ie=Ic+Ib
